Mr. Riker boasts 34 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. For the past 30 years, he worked for Hines, the international real estate firm, in its Mid-Atlantic Office. At Hines, he assumed significant development, acquisition/disposition and asset management responsibilities involving over 10 million square feet of office, residential, retail and hospitality real estate. Mr. Riker is respected for his experience with placemaking, particularly in the context of urban mixed-use projects, and for his thoughtfulness, attention to detail, customer service orientation and prioritization of relationships.

Mr. Riker is a graduate of Harvard Business School, where he achieved Second Year Honors, and Yale College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, with distinction in his major.

Over the course of his career, he has been involved with numerous community and real estate industry organizations. He has served as an officer and member of executive committees and boards of directors, including the District of Columbia Building Industry Association, the Downtown D.C. Business Improvement District and the Latin American Youthbuild Charter School. He is a member of ULI and ICSC.
